Senior Prep Clubs Programme

At our school, learning does not stop at the classroom door. Our vibrant Clubs Programme, offered to our Senior Prep boys on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons, provides boys with opportunities to explore their interests, develop new skills, and grow as confident, well-rounded individuals.

We believe that education should nurture the whole child, and our clubs are designed to encourage creativity, curiosity, collaboration and confidence.

Clubs are led by dedicated teachers and specialist facilitators who guide boys through hands-on, engaging activities that promote both personal growth and fun. Participation in clubs is an essential part of school life and helps boys build a sense of belonging and balance in their weekly routine.

Our Current Club Offerings include:

Engages and inspires young artists with fun, age-appropriate techniques that nurture creativity, colour sense, and artistic expression.

Encourages creativity and self-expression while helping boys develop fine motor skills and confidence through various artistic mediums in a relaxed setting.

A project-based environment where foundational computer science concepts are explored using various platforms. Boys develop logical reasoning, creativity and problem-solving skills.

Helps boys build everyday vocabulary and communication skills to confidently engage in basic conversation in Afrikaans and isiZulu.

Builds public speaking, critical thinking, and argumentation skills while promoting respectful discussion, confidence and leadership.

Enhances communication, creativity, teamwork, and self-expression through acting and performance. These skills are transferable to both academic and real-life situations.

Teaches boys how to tell stories through images, explore themes creatively, and experiment with different photography techniques.

Expands general knowledge through fun, competitive quizzes. Boys participate in interschool events, develop recall skills, and take pride in representing their school.

A thinking and enrichment programme that draws on literature, history, and current issues to spark curiosity, creativity and meaningful dialogue.

Provides a calm, structured environment where boys can complete homework with support. It promotes good study habits and helps reduce stress associated with academic tasks.

Brings problem-solving to life with Olympiad-style questions from around the world. Boys learn to collaborate and tackle non-routine problems using higher-order thinking skills.
