Nurture, Empower, Grow

Grades 0 - 7

As an inclusive, mainstream boys’ Prep School, The Ridge School offers a variety of interventions to cater to the unique and diverse needs of our boys. Supporting your child’s learning journey is the reason for our existence as ‘The Lighthouse.’ Your child’s growth and development are at the heart of everything we do.

At The Ridge School, depending on the age of the learners and their identified needs, boys may receive one-on-one, small-group support, in-class support or a therapist may co-teach with a teacher. This support may last for the duration of a skill or may continue throughout the year.

Concerned parents or teachers may request assessments to ascertain whether the child’s needs are being met. Recognition of a child’s strengths is key to addressing concerns and working through areas of challenge. Building up a child’s strengths and being cognisant of their developing areas is crucial in creating an empowering and enriching learning programme for boys with diverse abilities. Ultimately, when a child experiences success and satisfaction, he will learn.
