Community Engagement

The Ridge School is deeply rooted in its community. We value the strong partnerships we share with our boys, parents, and staff, knowing that together we help our school not only thrive, but continue to grow and flourish for generations to come.

As a school, we are also committed to uplifting and supporting our broader community. It is important for our boys to understand the value of generosity, kindness, and empathy. We run several initiatives throughout the year and our school community plays a central role in ensuring that these are meaningful. From a young age, we are helping our boys build awareness and compassion. Whether through Mandela Day or the work of our Social Justice Committee, our school actively engages in meaningful projects that inspire our boys to make a positive difference in the lives of others.

Where service, empathy and education come together to make a lasting difference.

Community Service

Our primary focus has been on education, as we believe that education offers a door to greater opportunities and a brighter future. We have a long-standing partnership with Salvazione Christian School, where our boys engage in yearly activities such as a Soccer Derby. In addition, we interact with Salvazione staff through training workshops and class visits.

We also build meaningful relationships with ECD crèches, both in Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal, where we offer ongoing support. Our boys are actively involved in these initiatives, learning first-hand the importance of service, connection and community.
