Entry to The Ridge School

The Ridge School offers an exceptional independent school experience for boys. Our outstanding school provides a rich learning journey for boys from Grade 0 through Grade 7.

Our main enrolment intake is in Grade 0 and Grade 1 giving families the opportunity to secure a place for their sons at the very start of an exceptional educational journey.

We have limited places available in other grades, and applications remain open throughout the year. Once an application is submitted, boys are placed on a waiting list. All offers are conditional on availability and the successful completion of the application process.

The Admissions Process

Step 1

Place an Application:

Please complete the online application form and submit the supporting documents. Someone will be in touch with you soonest.

Step 2

Meet the Staff and Explore the School:

Should your son be entering Grade 0, there will be opportunities for you to attend open days, meet the staff and explore the campus. For all other grades, there is an opportunity for your son to spend a day at the School, allowing him to experience a typical day in the classroom and around campus.

Step 3

Letters of Offer:

Upon the successful completion of an application, letters of offer are sent to prospective parents. This usually happens about eight months before the start of the academic year for Grade 0 applicants.

Step 4

Acceptance:

We encourage parents to confirm their acceptance and secure their son’s place. Parents are requested to provide the supporting documents and submit the relevant enrolment fee to complete the enrolment process.

Step 5

Schooling Journey Begins:

We warmly welcome you and your son/s to The Ridge School community. We are confident that your experience will be fulfilling and enriching.

We warmly invite all prospective parents to join us for a personal tour of the School. The tours offer a wonderful opportunity for you and your family to explore our campus, meet our teachers, and get a true sense of life at The Ridge School. 

We encourage you to set aside about an hour for your visit; there is so much to explore, and taking the time to chat with our teachers and boys along the way makes the experience all the more special.
